Bozlu Art is proud to present Kerem Ağralı’s solo exhibition titled “Nova Prophetia” | “New Prophecy” from February 27 to April 25, 2026. A term in Latin, Nova Prophetia, does not strictly refer to prophecy itself yet it points at multilayered modes of thinking and a field of possibilities. In his new exhibition, Ağralı brings together the past, present, and future on the same pictorial plane.

In his paintings, Kerem Ağralı does not approach time as a uniform linear progression. Instead, he creates conceptual spaces in which past, present, and future can coexist in an intertwined and simultaneous manner. He does not explicitly depict space nor directly narrate time. Rather, he constructs dimensions with indeterminate boundaries—without clear beginnings or endings—where all temporal layers may exist together.

Ağralı’s works feature fantastical figures grounded in reality yet imbued with surreal elements. Engaging with areas of research such as Eastern philosophy, quantum theory, and science fiction, the artist delicately weaves these themes into his compositions. Moving beyond conventional patterns of thought, he constructs spheres where absolute truths and rounded narratives do not exist.

Having also chosen a Latin title for his previous solo exhibition, the artist explains this preference as follows: “The Latin origin of the title Nova Prophetia is a deliberate choice. Rather than belonging to a specific time, geography, or contemporary spoken language, Latin carries the idea of timelessness as a language that has preserved its existence within historical continuity.” In this respect, Latin definitions and expressions correspond with the concept of time that emerges throughout Kerem Ağralı’s works.

Reflecting a multilayered dialogue shaped by the concepts of timelessness, continuity, and possibility, and questioning both the persistence of change and the boundlessness of probabilities, Kerem Ağralı’s exhibition can be viewed at Bozlu Art until 25 April 2026.
